Youth Ministry
We’re aware that adolescence is a critical time for the formation of faith. Somehow, faith has to become personal. Having Christian friends, having a place where they are welcomed, and interacting with adult friends and teachers are just a few of the ways this happens, Celebration, conversation, and experiencing God are all key components in the spiritual formation of teenagers and are central to what we do here at Dayspring.
Dayspring is a place that values thinking and questioning. While helping our students to be grounded in scripture and doctrine, we also challenge them to think deeply about their faith and experience the transforming power of Christ’s presence in their lives.
Every other Sunday evening our youth group meets from 5-7 p.m. We work to create a welcoming environment in which teens are invited to share their lives with each other and grow in their understanding of what it means to be followers of Jesus. These times begin with dinner and typically include games and the study of scripture.

Camps, Retreats, Service
Camps also play a significant part of faith formation and spiritual renewal for our young people. Each summer our group enjoys a week-long summer camp. Additionally, we have an overnight retreat each semester that includes play, food, and a ministry project in the community.
